Description
‘Gourmet Salad Bowl Red’ lettuce is a highly ornamental and productive loose-leaf variety, cherished by South African gardeners for its vibrant, reddish-bronze, deeply lobed leaves that form an attractive, open rosette. This tender and crisp lettuce offers a mild, slightly sweet flavour without any bitterness, making it a perfect base for a wide variety of salads. Its striking colour adds visual appeal to mixed green salads and can also be used as a decorative garnish for platters or light, fresh wraps. ‘Gourmet Salad Bowl Red’ is known for its cut-and-come-again harvesting, providing a continuous supply of fresh leaves throughout the growing season.
