Description

‘Roma’ (VF) is the definitive, classic plum tomato prized globally for paste, canning, and sauce production. This open-pollinated determinate variety yields heavy crops of thick-walled, pear- to egg-shaped red fruits. Featuring dense, meaty flesh with very low moisture content and few seeds, ‘Roma’ cooks down quickly into rich, smooth purees and sauces without requiring hours of reduction.

Growth Habit: Determinate (Bush) — grows to a compact height of around 1.0 m, setting the majority of its crop over a concentrated 3- to 4-week window.
