‘Roma’ (VF) is the definitive, classic plum tomato prized globally for paste, canning, and sauce production. This open-pollinated determinate variety yields heavy crops of thick-walled, pear- to egg-shaped red fruits. Featuring dense, meaty flesh with very low moisture content and few seeds, ‘Roma’ cooks down quickly into rich, smooth purees and sauces without requiring hours of reduction.
